Our Favorite Fisherman

About five months ago we met a young returned missionary on the phone. He had been on a mission to Denmark and was willing to call us faithfully every other weekday to teach us the Danish Language. He did this between classes at BYU.
Wesley was a patient, caring teacher. We soon discovered that he loved to fish in the icy streams and lakes around Spanish Fork where he lived. He reminded me of the scripture in Matthew 4: 18-20 The Savior Said:
"Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. And (He) straightway left (his) net, and followed Him."

We had the privelege of meeting him face to face at the MTC.

Mange Tak,Wesley, I will try to live up to the high standard that you set for us.

Many of the senior couples that we have met here in Denmark began their Danish language training with our Elder Bradford and many of the Elders that we have met here light up when they remember him. Again, Mange, Mange, Tak.
